GPS Survey Technician- Civil Design- Lawrenceville, GA
Engineering Management, Inc. (EMI) is seeking an experienced GPS Survey Technician with balanced experience in a variety of local government projects with emphasis on water and wastewater projects.
DUTIES
Operate GPS equipment, keep field notes, communicate with office staff, train subordinates, operate robotic instrument, operate total station, data collector, GPS (fast static, RTK and VRS), auto level; download data into computer..
EXPERIENCE
5-10 + years survey experience. Topographic surveys, construction surveys, as-built surveys of water sewer & storm.
SKILLS
Knowledge of field equipment operation, communication, field note taking, good math skills, ability to work as a one man crew, ability to travel through the week as the projects require. Cad drafting ability as plus.
DEGREES / LICENSES REQUIRED
High School Diploma and valid driver’s license required.
OTHER
Valid Driver’s License, good work ethic, reliability, able to lift up to 50 pounds, able to work more than 40 hours a week as necessary. Pre-employment drug testing is required as a condition of employment.
